PT Dahana recently held the Opening Ceremony for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Month, reaffirming the Company’s commitment to fostering a strong OHS culture. The event was themed “Building a Professional, Reliable, and Collaborative OHS Ecosystem” and took place at Bale Dahana, Subang, West Java, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The event was inaugurated by PT Dahana’s President Director, Hary Irmawan.

In his remarks, Mr Irmawas emphasized that OHS is essential for Dahana, not merely a requirement. The management is firmly committed to implementing OHS measures, supported by various programs and budgets across different levels. He stressed that OHS should be an integral part of the company’s business strategy to ensure continuity, as well as the well-being and protection of every worker.

“I urge all PT Dahana employees to enhance their awareness of potential workplace hazards, prioritize safety, and support one another in creating a safe, healthy, and productive environment. Our goal is to achieve Zero Accidents and Zero Fatalities,” Mr Irmawan stated.

The President Director also expressed his appreciation for Dahana’s performance in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHS), which successfully recorded zero Lost Time Injuries by 2025. However, he cautioned against complacency regarding this achievement and expressed hope that the safety culture will be continuously maintained and improved.

To commemorate the OHS Month this year, running from January 12 to February 12, 2026, Dahana has organized a series of competitions, occupational safety and health campaigns, and various engaging activities aimed at enhancing the company’s OHS culture.

These events will include a fun walk and exercise program, a fire drill competition, a safety poster competition, a virtual run and ride, HSSE Mastery Challenges, a hazard hunt, a safety video challenge, on-site HSE initiatives, a blood drive, basic life support training, and community outreach programs focused on HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis (TB).

Dahana’s General Manager of Occupational Health and Safety, Dewi Kurniaty, noted that the activities commemorating OHS Month are not merely competitive events; they serve as a platform for learning and strengthening the OHS culture in the workplace. She hopes that all Dahana employees will actively engage, not only as participants but also as advocates for Dahana’s OHS culture.

“Every competition and activity will help us make safety a habit: getting used to compliance, showing care, and prioritizing safety. Let’s use this OHS Month as a momentum for evaluation and learning. When each individual takes an active role, safety and a secure, healthy, and productive work environment will become a reality, rather than just an ideal,” Ms Kurniaty concluded.
